Renovation
The barn was originally built in 1660 and adjoins a much earlier farm house, Virginia House. Over the years the building has evolved according to the demands of the farm and its occupiers. However, the barn has lain dormant since the last agricultural tenants left in 2000. The ambition to rectify the situation has long been held and in 2019, Chris and Caroline decided to make the decisive move to create two premium holiday and thus save the barn from ruin.
The following images show part of this journey and hopefully go some way to conveying the total transformation which has occured, of which Dove and Moon Barn are the fabulous result.
